Ndo Dlamini, behind a slide of pictures, paying tribute to the late statesman, Nelson Mandela. If a certain amount of performing and expressing oneself could bring a person back to life, this would be one of those moments. As she uttered her rich voice, accompanied by a fist raised high, the audience - present at the South African State Theatre (SAST), sang along in an atmosphere filled with sadness and celebratory. The death of Madiba brought a huge cloud of sadness to South Africans and the rest of the world. Although the world was mourning, the moment also allowed a time to reflect on much of a greater contribution he made to humanity.
